Terms of sale

The agreement

Plain terms for a made-to-measure piece. Last updated 15 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Bite Club is a private custom grillz atelier in London, trading as Bite Club. Contact us at hello@thebiteclubldn.com. Our registered business details are given on every quote and invoice. Appointments are private and by arrangement only; we do not have a public shop.

2. Who we make for

You must be 18 or over. Grillz are removable jewellery, not dental treatment. Before we accept an order you confirm the safety statements on our site and in the app. We can decline any order, including where we think a piece would not be safe for you.

3. Impressions

Impressions are taken by you with our kit or by a GDC-registered dentist. We never take impressions. If an impression isn't good enough to make an accurate piece, we'll ask for another before quoting.

4. Quotes and the contract

Prices online are guides only. After we check your impression we send a written quote covering the metal, fineness, teeth, stones, finish and estimated timing. A contract is formed when you accept the quote and your payment clears.

5. Payment

Payment is in full, up front, by the method shown on your quote. Work starts when it clears. We never accept cash, and no payment is taken in the app.

6. Making, fitting and collection

Each piece is carved in wax, cast and polished by hand. Timings are estimates; we'll keep you updated in the app. Fittings and collection are at a private appointment in London. The exact location is sent privately once confirmed. We may ask for photo ID at collection.

7. Cancelling and returns

Every piece is made to your teeth and design, so the 14-day "change of mind" cancellation right for distance sales does not apply (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 28(1)(b)). If you want to cancel before work starts, contact us and we'll refund what you paid less any costs already incurred, such as stones bought for your piece. See hallmarking for how metal is verified.

8. Your legal rights

Nothing here affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 your piece must be of satisfactory quality, as described and fit for purpose, and our work carried out with reasonable care and skill. If it isn't, contact us and we'll put it right by repair, replacement or refund as the law provides. Wear and tear, damage from eating or sleeping in a piece, and changes to your own teeth are not faults.

9. Wearing your piece

Follow the care guide you receive. Take it out to eat, never sleep in it, and stop wearing it and see a dentist if you have pain, rubbing or gum irritation. In an emergency call 999; for urgent advice call NHS 111.

10. Designs and photos

You own your piece. We keep the right to our designs and process. We will only share photos of your piece with your permission.

11. Complaints

Email hello@thebiteclubldn.com and we'll reply within 5 working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
